Comedy Open Mic; Book Show

Test out your new improv sketch at comedy open mic hosted by Sumukh Torgalkar. Early arrival suggested for those that want to sign up! Sign ups begin at 7:00 p.m. and open mic begins at 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Secret Stair Hike #7; HLP

Learn about Los Angeles’ history while getting your cardio on! This walk is more like a hike due to some of the steep hills and staircases along the way. It’s approximately 3.2 miles long with a difficulty of 5/5. This walk is not for the faint at heart. Be sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes!

Earth Day LA; Highland Park Recreation Center

Jump in and have some earth-friendly fun in a festival setting at LA Sanitation’s 3rd annual Earth Day LA! There will be games to play, prizes to win, mascots to meet, seeds to plant, photos to take, and 50 plus exhibitors to visit. There will also be city vehicles for kids to explore. Beverages and snacks are also available and free while supplies last. All exhibits will be related to City services and sustainability. There is no charge for admission, and all are welcome.
